- Worship: reverent love and devotion, ardent devotion, adoration, love unquestioningly and uncritically or to excess
- Worshiping God gives your life true meaning! It brings you to a place where God can speak to you and give you direction for your life. When you truly worship God, you remind Him of the covenant He has with you and that He sent His only Son to die for you.
If we are to be True Worshipers as John 4:23 states, we must worship God in our daily lives: not as an act of duty because we’re suppose to, but as an act of love and complete devotion because He is real to us!
We all expect God to be Faithful to the promises in His Word. We all have found ourselves thanking Him for His Faithfulness to us in our lives. When then should we decide to fulfill our side of Faithfulness unto God? The Apostle Paul urges and prays that we show ourselves Faithful to God in our response to His faithfulness to us. We should ALL (logically) exhibit ourselves as fully agreeable to God in our act of Worship and service to God. Let’s respond to our Heavenly Father’s Faithfulness by diligently pressing into His presence and supplying the wants of (wait on) God in Worship…
God is looking for those who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth…
God is looking for those who will stand and be His personal waiter—to do whatever He asks of them…
God is looking for those who will take the time to understand His word and His heart…
God is looking for those who will take the time to hear His voice…
God Is looking for those who will let His light and His Fire burn away the darkness…
If God is looking…will He find you?
Will you allow yourself to Catch A Fire and burn for him?
Let’s ALL Worship God
Think of watching your TV late at night when those exercise infomercials come on. We all have done it—sitting there watching other people exercise and experience the satisfaction of plugging their mind/body/time into something to benefit their lives. So many people never really get up and try the exercises themselves. They feel that by watching someone else exercise and explain the steps of the exercise itself—they have in some way experienced exercise through osmosis. Too many Christians today have this very same habit in Praising & Worshiping their God in a corporate setting. We find ourselves watching others Praise & Worship God and experience the life changing power of His presence where our perspective changes. We find ourselves judging the form or the effort put forth by others, yet we ourselves do not plug into God and Praise & Worship Him with our mind/body/spirit/time/whole lives because we experienced someone else doing what we are either to scared to try or to chained up inside to step out and do! If we want to live a life of Worship unto God, we must open ourselves up for Him to change us/reform us/rearrange us in Worship—in His presence we become vulnerable and moldable enough for the Potter to turn us into the design He has in mind—rather than what we are use to seeing when we look at ourselves.
